Stardust Cellars | Mooresville, NC
I'm excited to spotlight Stardust Cellars, a biodynamic muscadine meadery and artisanal winery in the hills of North Wilkesboro. Their focus is on sustainability and locally-sourced ingredients to create a truly unique experience. I helped secure Stardust Cellars' Mooresville location at the end of 2024 and they have been hard at work transforming the space ever since. Their grand opening and ribbon cutting for the new Mooresville taproom and tasting room marked an exciting milestone for both their team and the local community.

In addition to their expansion, Stardust Cellars recently announced their upcoming Stardust Festival, taking place August 22 at their North Wilkesboro location. The event will feature two stages of live music, along with food trucks, craft vendors, and local artists, continuing their focus on creating experience-driven spaces.

It's been exciting to watch this vision come together, and I'm proud to have played a role in bringing them to the Lake Norman area.

115 Corporate Center Drive | Mooresville, NC
I secured 20,070 square feet at this location for the Town of Mooresville to support the town's continued expansion. As Mooresville keeps growing, projects like this help make sure the infrastructure and services behind that growth keep pace. It's a solid example of the kind of public sector work happening in this market right now.

298 N NC-16 Highway | Denver, NC
I secured a 10-year lease for Edward Jones at this location. Edward Jones works with clients on wealth management, retirement planning, and other financial services, so a long term commitment like this says they're planning to stay rooted in this community for years to come. A lease of that length is rare to see, and it gives the firm room to build relationships with local clients without worrying about relocating anytime soon. It's a strong sign of confidence in this corridor and good news for residents looking for steady, local access to financial planning.

I closed this sale for $350,000, with Movement Matters Physical Therapy as the buyer. Movement Matters provides one-on-one physical therapy, specializing in orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and MS care for the Lake Norman community. Specialized care like this often gets harder to find as an area grows, so having a practice like this own its own space means they're set up to keep serving patients here for the long run. It's a great outcome for the buyer and a good sign for the kind of healthcare options available in this market.

Lock is Lit Pinball | Cornelius, NC
This 1,652 sqft space at 19829 S Main St is now home to Lock is Lit Pinball, an authorized Stern dealer offering new and used machines, sales, service, and parts. The showroom carries everything from current titles to vintage classics, along with accessories like shooter knobs, art blades, and side armor, plus their own merch line. They also handle repairs and maintenance, so it's a one-stop shop for collectors and arcade owners alike. The showroom is by appointment only, so reach out directly to set up a visit before stopping by.

Fun fact: pinball was actually banned in many U.S. cities for decades, starting in the 1940s, because it was classified as a game of chance and associated with gambling. New York didn't lift its ban until 1976, when a player proved in court that skill, not luck, determined the score. Glad to see the game (and a great local business) thriving in Cornelius now.

It's been exciting to watch this vision come together, and I'm proud to have played a role in bringing them to the Lake Norman area.

What Clients Say

"

As our north Charlotte office space came to the end of its long-term lease, I reached out to Michelle Polito with the Knox Group to help us source the perfect spot. She took the time and interest to really get to know us, to understand the specifics of our space needs, even keeping in mind unique details while looking, like that we needed display space for 600 movies for our clients to choose from for their brain training! All the while, I had the sense that Michelle worked just as hard on finding our single north-end satellite office as another realtor would have done for a client 5-times our size. And she really, really knows that north corridor and is so well connected. It wasn't long until she turned up the exact right solution before it was in the multiple listings, paved the way in the negotiations, and saw it all the way through with ease.

We typically lease our properties ourselves, but the corporate tenants we wanted to reach work through formal RFPs and broker connections we just didn't have. Michelle did. She had national companies at the table, and through a connection in her company's networking group, she also brought us a well-established local company with rock-solid financials, who turned out to be the strongest fit of all. She understood that with a multi-year lease, the right tenant matters just as much from a relationship standpoint as a financial one. She never pushed, just gave us great options. If you're a property owner who usually does things yourself, Michelle is the exception worth making. We couldn't be happier with how it all turned out.

I moved my retail property leasing to the Knox Group and was introduced to Michelle Polito. First of all the Knox Group did an analysis of the retail landscape in the surrounding areas and suggested adjusting rental rates up and I took their recommendations and have not lost any tenants. Michelle has consistently exceeded my expectations in bringing new tenants and resigning lease extensions with existing tenants.

Michelle Polito has been a terrific commercial real estate partner. Most recently, she helped me with the search for and eventual purchase of Midas Spring Water. I was looking for a place to put a distillery, and Michelle immediately saw that this listing would work perfectly. She and Steve even went the extra mile to meet with local council members and gauge whether the project would be well received in the town. Michelle then negotiated with the property owners and facilitated a smooth, easy purchase of the 39-acre property — and the existing commercial spring water business was an added bonus. We've since put the distillery on hold and are focused on growing the water business, and Michelle continues to be an ally and supporter of our company.

On a separate occasion, my business was working in a town about an hour from Charlotte, and I needed a place for my staff to stay during a temporary job — ideally an investment property I could sell later. Michelle went out to the town and searched until we found the right match. When it came time to sell, she and the Knox Group were instrumental in finding a qualified buyer and helped facilitate a quick and profitable sale. In all, Michelle has supported me through the sale of three properties, each handled with the same efficiency and professional results.
