Steven R. Knox
Vice President

Steve is a native of Charlotte, born here in 1961. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a current member of the local Commercial Board of Realtors.

Steve joined Colliers Vinson, a commercial real estate brokerage firm in 1986. Initially hired to rotate among the firms's leasing, sales and management divisions, he quickly settled into the leasing department where he handled the leasing of Airport 85 and South Point Business Park. Steve continued to handle various company and personal leasing, sales and tenant representation. projects until 1992 when Vinson Realty joined the Colliers Network, with member companies in over 180 cities and countries, and changed its name to Colliers Vinson. Steve was named Colliers Manager and handled the company's promotion of its national and international business. His duties also included assisting brokers, monitoring national and international referrals, and developing marketing and advertising strategies. In 1994, Steve was named a member of the board of directors of the Colliers Managers. He assisted in developing strategies and guidelines for the Colliers Network nationally and internationally.

In November of 1995, Steve joined The Knox Group, Inc. as Vice President and Broker-in-Charge. Steve's primary focus is in the marketing and brokerage of The Knox Group's current real estate portfolio as well as expanding the brokerage business. Steve continues to work with such companies as Westinghouse, Bearings Inc., Laminex, and Bell and Howell.

Steve lives in Charlotte with his wife Paige, son Chandler and daughter Kinsey.
